Pink Wild Pear
A small, Hibiscus-like tree to about 4 m tall with large, lobed, soft and velvety leaves and a profusion of clusters of light pink flowers with a dark center. It is native to forest margins and riverine forest in southeastern Africa. In cultivation it is fast, easy and adaptable, best suited to warm temperate and some tropical climates in USDA Zones 10 and above.
