Seeds from this species ......need up to 6 months to sprout.
I have 1 agava filifera in my cold house, but outside in summer (dry, up to 35 °C). can I leave it ouside
in our whet winters with a lot of rain and whet snow sometimes. min temperatures reaching -10 °C 3 - 5 times
a winter early in the morning, location : switzerland, 500 m above sea level, 47 ° north,6 ° east. climate
zone 8 ( 7 every 20 years) following arnold arboretum boston.

...very easy to germinate and need up to 1 month to
sprout.
seeds were covered in moist peat moss in strong sunlight and the temperature was about 90-100°F(30-40°C).
Almost every seed sprout after 3 weeks...they are growing very slowly.
