Nolina nelsonii
Blue Beargrass Tree

One of the largest in the genus, this species from northeastern Mexico grows as a small, slender tree with multiple rosette crowns of straplike leaves to 4 cm (2 in.) wide. It is best adapted to dry subtropical/warm temperate climates and can handle moderate freezes and drought conditions.

Seeds from this species ...

... are very easy to germinate and need up to 1 month to sprout.
Nothing to it really. In a comunity pot, place seeds about 1cm deep and 3 cm apart in good potting soil. Bottom water/soak pot. Keep in warm place (25-30C). Germination at least 80% for me.
